Donate Training Hours: Elgon Salons' response to "Plant the Future"
A project for which our whole world has been mobilized - including that of hairdressers who collaborate with our company - with the aim of supporting the future of Sierra Leone women by giving them hours of training, valuable time to learn to self-sustain economically. It started, in fact, the initiative at the Salons customers of our brand, thanks to which anyone who benefits from a treatment with Elgon products can devote a few hours of training to Sierraleonesi.
"I am a hairdresser and I am proud of my work" - continues Viviana. "Every day I sell beauty and try to do it to the fullest, offering my customers expertise and professionalism. With "Plant the Future" I have the opportunity to add an extra value to my service: my customers can feel beautiful outside, but also better inside, giving their contribution to those who are less fortunate".
Viviana strongly believes in the value of training, a necessary tool to improve not only technically, but above all in the spirit, thanks to the comparison and continuous exchange with others.
A theme, this, in which Serena Caimano - General Director of Elgon - for several years is investing all its forces, on several levels. Both internally to his company - through a rich training program that makes available to his employees and his customers for the development of technology and skills - and beyond the Italian borders, offering a people like Sierra Leone the possibility of emancipation thanks to a work culture that also involves women.
Efforts and commitments that begin to reap excellent results, both in terms of the success of the COOPI project (thanks to the commitment of people like Viviana) and in terms of visibility of the initiative through the media.
