COSMOPROF 2019 according to ELGON
On March 18, the 2019 edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, the world’s leading trade fair for the entire cosmetics industry, closed with the participation of over 265,000 sector operators and also a 10% increase in visitors from abroad.
Visiting the Elgon stand this year gave the opportunity to receive a customized diagnosis by the Genius, Elgon experts, and to assist in the creation of your own product haicare or haircolor customized based on the specific needs of the hair.
Thousands of visitors welcomed who could live an experience of uniqueness and create their own unique treatment. The experience consists of several steps and starts from the idea that each person is an individual with specific needs, who expects to receive special attention from the companies to which he addresses.
Cosmoprof is increasingly focusing on the importance of taking a new path for the industry, with greater attention to sustainability.
In this sense, Elgon has always lived the need to have a more "ethical" cosmetic, a need so alive to create the Mother Science standard (read more -> click here) and to choose to use renewable plastic for some packs and some raw materials from sustainable trade or with controlled supply chain.
Not only that, Elgon chooses to minimize waste with low environmental impact policies such as, for example, providing secondary packaging only when really necessary or, in everyday life, embracing the philosophy "think before you print" to limit the printing of emails and materials.
Returning to Cosmoprof, its trends and Elgon experience, it confirms a truly important moment for the male cosmetics market. The most requested products? Surely those for the care of the beard that, in fact, have more and more space and relevance. In this edition, with the initiative #ShareTheFuture, with each purchase, miles were donated to give women the opportunity to move around the country and share skills and experiences with other communities. Result? Elgon and its customers donated 450 km together!
