Carpe Diem, the new Elgon Collection. Word to the hairstylist
We have already presented this innovative concept, deepening from the technical point of view Monochromatic, the first of the four themes of which the Collection is composed.
Today we give the floor to the experts who have given shape to Carpe Diem, referring to a beauty both exterior and interior, declining through different styles thanks to innovative products. And, above all, working in direct contact with people, to know their passions and aspirations.
"Carpe Diem embodies the great desire to be always on the piece, to seize the moment in everything you are doing" - says Christopher Cameron, Creative Director of Elgon. "For example, in our daily work within the Elgon team, it is crucial to be able to intercept what is relevant to our hairdressing clients and what they need at that precise moment, always having an eye to trends not only of the present, but also of the future".
Not only creativity, then. But above all visionary, or the ability to anticipate projects and ideas beyond what is trending today. Always with a note of color, element that distinguishes the Elgon brand and that represents the fil rouge of the four themes of the Collection.
In Monochromatic, for example, color represents the vibrant note in a world made of gray scales. "When I think of this word I think of a black and white film, one of the romantic ones" - Marco Girotti, Elgon Global Artist, speaks. "My interpretation of Monochromatic on hair are soft shapes with sweet curls and collected class, but with a modern touch. Color is one of the expressions of this contemporaneity".
Given the great success of this first style of the Elgon Collection in terms of interest and curiosity, Christopher Cameron greets us with a suggestion to better interpret Monochromatic, focusing on the use of toner as a fundamental resource to achieve an unprecedented look: "Putting together two contradictory colors in a single application, you create something extraordinarily refined!".
A suggestion that resonates like an invitation that is hard to give up.
